Castagneto Carducci is well connected by train, medium and long distance buses and highway.
The services offered in the area are very wide and diversified.

Castagneto Carducci: bus, bank, pharmacy, hairdresser, grocery stores.

Donoratico (4 km): bus, train, supermarkets (Conad, Coop, Penny Market), market with local products (Thursday), banks, tourist medical center, pharmacy, drugstores, hairdressers, beauticians, laundries, organic food, taxi, car rental and many other services.
During the summer Donoratico is connected to Marina di Castagneto by a funny tourist train, very popular with children. You can leave your car in the parking areas behind the station or near the Parco delle Sughere nad take the train to the beaches.

San Vincenzo (10 km): tourist harbour and local market (Saturday).

Cecina (25 km): there you can find all the facilities, many supermarkets, the biggest market of the area (Tuesday) and a modern and well-equipped hospital.
